Here is a great ash wood treen drinking or food bowl with side handles or lugs. It dates from the late 18th/early 19th century. What I really like about it is the old 19th century repair to the base of this bowl. A really neat patch to the underside "make do and repair' attitude. The figuring of the wood is great this bowl must have been loved!
At it's widest point it measures 23 cm including the handles x 6cm h.
