A Georgian sun dial and compass in a mahogany case. The paper compass card is signed 'Watkins Bristol'. The equation of time chart is also signed W. Watkins Optician, St Augustine Back, Bristol. It has a  chapter ring with roman numerals engraved.
 
It measures 7.8cm w x 7.8cm d x 2.6cm h when the case is closed.
