This is a lovely early example of a solitaire board with many good and unusual attributes. the board is made from sycamore wood with the rim being inlaid defining the edge and creating a striking contrast to the board. On the underside of the base hand written is the name Mifo Stanhope 1795. there are nicely turned bone pegs, the majority match.
