This beautiful late 1600's early 1700's fruitwood spice mortar grater. This piece has it all, lovely colour and patina through handling and use of a few hundred years. Great simple shape with incised line decoration all the way up. The metal grinder still intact  on the grinder section. Lovely signs of use to the inside base, and a collection label from the reputable Wacher collection of treen.
