A lovely 19th century Yew wood puzzle ball. Beautifully decorated with six ring turned circles  which are also decorated around the edges. One of the circular pannels pushes out to release a separate lidded box. This small box would have been for storage of snuff, rouge or even sovereigns. 
This box is particularly nice as it is made from Yew wood. It has a lovely colour and patina.
It measures 4.5cm in diameter.
