A very nice  George III yew wood novelty box, as a book, inlaid with lozenges and outlined with boxwood stringing, the spine as the cover, Birds eye maple for the pages and rosewood for the spine which pulls off for storage. The corners have a contrasting triangle. It measures 21cm wide, c.1810
