This is a lovely early whitewood Tunbridge Ware combined  tape measure and pin cushion with its original yellow suspension ribbon.
 One side has a domed pin cushion and tape spindle within a leaf painted wreath, line painted sides and the original yellow silk tape complete and inked in nails and division of yards. The slightly domed lid on the otherside has  a colour print depicting Chapel Royal, North Street, Brighton (C1807), 5.2cms w x 3.2cms h including tape spindle..
