An early 1800s Tunbridge Ware specimen box, the main body veneered in yew wood. On the lid are parquetry cubes inlaid with various woods to give a striking 3D effect.The contrasting woods used range from walnut, ebony to fruitwood and yew wood.
This box measures 18cm w x 10cm d x 5cm h and comes with a working key.
