Antique Tunbridge Ware  sewing box with  a very unusual  image on the sliding lid of the Pantiles, showing shops and houses with people strolling along dressed in Georgian attire. The Pantiles was formerly known as The Walks and the (Royal) Parade, which leads from the well that gave the town its name.

There is a label on the underside of the lid saying "A view of Tunbridge Wells walks".

Lid shows sign of  some wear. A very interesting piece.
