A small 19th century lignum vitae wool bowl with really good figuring.
This small bowl also known as a yarn bowl was used to hold small balls of wool whilst knitting or weaving. The bowl is smooth on the inside to avoid snagging.
It measures 6.5cm w x 4cm h.
