These are very nice 19th century watchmakers boxes made from boxwood with a glass lid. These small boxes were used by watchmakers to put there small jewels in. These boxes have accumulated a lovely colour and patina. They are only small measuring approx 2cm in height. Lovely pieces of antique treen.
