A 19th century sycamore spice muffineer with the more inusual feature of painted red line decoration. A small old knick repaired on the base.
It measures 15cm h x 6.5cm w at the widest point.
The word muffineer came from the use of these items to shake spice or sugar on to hot buttered muffins.
