A late 18th century burr ash spice flask with turned baluster shaped body and threaded finials, turned moulded foot.The spice flask unscrews in three places the lid, the neck where holes for sprinkling the spice are revealed and the base.

A very similar one was in the Shepherd collection.

It measures 20.7cm h x 8cm w at the widest part.
