A fine 19th century Mauchline Ware circular spice box decorated with Cambridge and Boston scenes to the outside. Lovely shaped edges to the top of the box. Inside retaining all of its eight spice pots. Labels with Lemon Peel, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cloves, Powdered Cinnamon, Mace.  One of the pots has a label with Cinnamon Flowers on it which is unusual. and of particular note is that the largest pot in the centre is for pepper.
