A 19th century antique treen Scottish quauch turned from fruitwood with silver/white metal to the rim, lugs and base. There is an old label to the base which is not easy to read but possibly says"Place at the ..... such was custom a land 1107AD"
It measures 10cm from lug to lug x 3.2cm h
Quaich were shallow Scottish drinking vessels with handles called lugs often used for celebratory purposes.
