A 19th century card press, probably once in an old tavern. There are five separate presses to hold five packs of playing cards. The press could also be used for small books, postacrds and flowers.  The top of the handle has been replaced at some stage. A great rustic piece.
Good colour and patina.. The press measures 40cm h x 17.5cm w x 10.5cm d.
