An unusual early to mid 1800s  travelling Lignum Vitae double penner holder. The top section unscrews for storage of  pen nibs, wafers or matches etc and the bottom section unscrews to reveal the original glass ink bottle. The lid has concentric circles on it to create friction to light a match when required. It measures approx 11.5cm h x 3cm w.
