This is an early 1800's sycamore pastry crimper, with many different features to the normal crimpers found. The top half of the handle is octagonal  in shape before tapering down to the crimper which is intergral to the handle and not a wheel. The top part of the handle is carved as a flower and would have been used as a stamp.

It has an old collection label 901 on it and is from the Levi Collection.

It measures 15cm l x 1.5cm w at the widest part of the handle.
