An early 1800's antique treen muffineer turned from sycamore. Muffineers were used for sprinkling sugar, various spices and pepper onto food, particularly cinnamon over hot buttered toast.Note the turned finial, holes to the lid anf turned foot. The top unscrews to fill the muffineer up.
The spice muffineer has a very good colour and patina.
