A late 1700's/ early 1800's sycamore muffineer for sprinkling sugar, various spices and pepper onto food, particularly cinnamon over hot buttered toast.
Note the turned finial, holes to the lid anf turned foot. The top unscrews to fill the muffineer up, note it is slightly loose where the thread has worn in places but will tighten,
Good colour and patina.
