A 19th century mini oak and brass  bound costrel, probably a childs example. it has a lovely shaped stopper. These are often referred to as harvest barrels and were used to carry beer, cider, spirits etc in. This one is a particularly nice small example.
This little costrel measures 12cm h x 12.3cm w x 5.3cm d.
