A  mid 19th century lignum vitae antique string box with cutter blade. Good figuring to the lignum vitae wood, lid unscrews and has a blade for cutting the string.
Label inside saying it was from The Pinto dispersal sale Sotherbys C1970. It measures approx 17cm h including the cutter x 11cm in diameter. Great piece of antique treen.
