This is an early 1900s  set of small lignum vitae indoor carpet bowls and the jack. Eight individual bowls, each are numbered 1 to 4, there are two of each number. Each bowl has incised circular line decoration on the top and bottom of the bowl.There is a small slide/chute for the bowls to roll down.
