A 19th century boxwood urn shaped lemon squeezer. Note the contrasting circular wooden circles as a decorative feature to the rim of the lid. The handle appears to be made from sycamore and may be a replacement although the handles are sometimes made from different wood. The top unscrews, revealing a long wood screw with a flat and rounded knob on the end to crush the lemon. The juice is released from the spout at the bottom.
