An antique treen knitting sheath from the mid 19th century. Originating from the North of England, Durham. Square tapering sheath ending in a scroll. Made as a love token, inlaid on three sides with bone hearts and brass diamonds and inlaid wooden diamonds. A real Folk Art piece.
