Antique Treen Go to Bed Match Holder - wine bottle
A 19th century antique treen 'Go to Bed' or match holder in the shape of a wine bottle. It unscrews in the middle for storage of the matches.
The base is a series of concentric circles so that the surface provides friction to light the match. Ebony bottle, note the top is in a contrasting wood, to look like a cork.
