A pair of antique treen Brighton Bun candlesticks.
They consist of two olive wood drip pan bases which screw together to form a circular bun. When unscrewed the base divides into two halves revealing two candle cups.When upturned the two drip pans form the bases of two chamber candles and the cups screw into the bases to form two chamber sticks.They were also used as portable candlesticks by the military and for pilgrims visiting the Holy Land.
