A 19th century biscuit or springerie mould.  These biscuit or cookie moulds were used by rolling or pressing the doughonto the mould to make an impression and then allowing the design/pictureto dry before baking.There are ten different carved pictures including a boat, animals, people etc. The mould measures 37cm l x 13cm w x 2.2cm d. It has a hanging ring to the top and makes a great decorative picture as well.
