A 19th century carved beech wood gingerbread / biscuit mould. Double sided with various carved men on horses and other animals. Individual carved figures of women and men, similar to the German springerle biscuit moulds. The biscuit dough was rolled out and the images impressed on the dough, which was allowed to dry before baking.
