A George 111 mahogany tea chest/caddy with oak lined interior with three sections, lid lined with old newspaper. Original brass escutcheon and swan neck handle standing on bracket feet.
An unusual feature of this tea caddy is that there is a secret drawer, the side of the chest slides up and then a small drawer can be pulled out. A lovely feature which very few of these caddies had.
