An early 19th century  box wood  spice flask, The top acorn finial unscrews to reveal holes to shake the spice out of. The base unscrews to allow the spice container to be filled. Good condition just a small age related shrinkage crack to foot. Similar ones illustrated in Treen for the Table page 108.
