A very nice antique mahogany box with sliding lid inlaid with Spelling and Alphabet and containing over 100 bone letters, some double sided and some single sided. On the underneath of the lid is a label E. C Spurin late edlin, FANCY REPOSITORY, A juvenile library, 37 New Bond ST, London.
The box measures 10.5cm w x 4.4cm h x 7.8cm d. C1850.
