An interesting novelty snuff box in the form of some bellows. Carved from mahogany with a sliding lid with a stop. Decorated with brass pins and a motto to the front ' Forget me not'.
Possibly the bellows shaped  snuff boxes gave the allusion of blowing  away the dust!
This one measures when closed 13cm l x 6cm w x 3cm d.
