A 19th century Scottish staved wood Scottish drinking vessel.
A Luggie is a drinking vessel made in Scotland. It consists of alternating wooden staves bound by willow. In between each stave made by hand using a knife there is feather banding to ensure the vessel is water tight.
Interestingly between the two layered base there is a dry pea which when shaken would get the attention of the bar tender.
It measures 12.5cm w x 17cm h including the handle.
