This is an unusual 19th century snuff box in the rare shape of a cow. To open the snuff box part of the lid slides sideways and then a further lid slides backwards. The snuff box is decorated with horns, tongue,  and a carved  face with eyes and a nose.
The box measures 4cm h x 2.5cm d x  8.5cm w.
