A late 18th Prisoner of War snuff shoe box, probably made at Sissinghurst Castle. The box has a carved buckle and laurel leaf decoration.A very similar example is illustrated in the Napoleonic Prisoner of War book by C Lloyd. It measures 11.5cm l x 3.5cm h x 2.5cm d.
