An unusual Prisoner of war wooden shoe games- box with mini dominoes to the inside. Npte the beautifully carved sliding lid with coloured flowers.
A full set of 55 dominoes, going right up to a double nine.
Very similar ones are illustrated in the Prisoner of  War book by C Lloyd page 209 where they are described as coming from Sissinghurst Castle.
The shoe measures 18.5cm l x 4cm w x 3.7cm h
