A lovely small sized  oak writing box and slope. Dating from the early to mid 1800.s. Unusually rather than a lift up lid this writing box has a fixed slope and then a pull out drawer for storage.
The  dovetailed drawer has oak sides and back, and turned knod handle.. Above is the oak slope with a ledge for resting papers on and then to the top it has a ledge  with moulding  for storing pens
Lovely colour and patina. It measures 23.5cm w x 22cm d x 18cm h at the longest points.
