A early 19th century nutmeg grater turned from fruitwood in the shape of the wine bottles of the period, with a kicked up base. The middle unscrews for storage of nutmegs and to reveal the grater. There is a hole in the top to allow the nutmeg when grated to come out. A couple of aged surface cracks, still works well with the thread being in good order.
It measures 13cm h x 4.5cm w at the base.
