An early to mid 19th century antique mahogany money box in the shape of a chiffonier. The back has a slot for the coins and the base has a peg, (which has been replaced), which when pulled out, opens the doors to retrieve the money. Good condition, lovely curved top, a small repair to the top right hand side, cockbeaded doors with dummy diamond shaped escutcheons. C1830. It measures 14.5cm w x 7.5cm d x 20.5cm h.
