A mahogany mini roll topped desk. This was  a home made piece  made up from different old pieces of wood that the maker had around maybe for a daughter of wife.
On the bottom of the desk is a label saying G Baxter 1876.
 
The roll top has slightly warped, it will still open and close but is a little stiff.
