This is a Georgian mahogany tea chest from around 1770/80/ with the added feature that it has a secret drawer. This is accessed by sliding up the side of the caddy on the right handsome and then a small drawer is revealed. Probably for putting silver spoons in. This feature required absolute precision in the manufacturer to line everything up.

The chest measures 23.5cm w x 17cm h.
