A most unusual 19th century mahogany money box in the shape of a small house. The top of the chimney has a slot for coins.

To retrieve the coins either the coins would have to be shaken out via the pot or by unscrewing  the base.

It measures 18.5cm w x 10.5cm d x 17cm h

Money boxes were made for saving and not retrieving easily, many ceramic money boxes would actually need to be smashed to retieve the coins.
