A lovely 19th century  Irish Killarney card case made from arbutus wood inlaid with shamrocks on one side and on the reverse side is an inlaid harp, The top slides off for storage of cards.
Killarney Ware was produced as souvenir gifts for tourists and is quite distinctive using contasting woods for the inlay with the harp, shamrocks and Irish buildings being the popular subjects for decoration.
This card case measures 10cm h x 6cm w x 1.2cm d.
