A Georgian oval box with striking inlaid parquetry to the lid and to the curved sides. Note on the sides there are some of the tumbling block cubes which resemble those used in the Tunbridge Ware industry. Stripes in alternating light and dark woods finish the sides. On the lid made to look like a flower are various inlaid diamonds spanning from a central circle, again using different toned woods to give a very striking appearance. Some of the woods used include Walnut, Satin wood,, Rosewood and Birds Eye Maple.
