An early 1800's antique treen double measure, with incised line decoration.

These measures were used  for corn, nuts and various grocers, spice, flour and coffee.

This one is made from beech wood. Note how it is divided off centre to provide two different volumes of measure. This is a particularly nice measure having double incised line decoration to the outside.

It  measures approx 14cm h x 5cm w at the widest point
