A very unusual  small, narrow sized cheese coaster with deep sides, sitting on its original brass castors.
Great colour and patina.
The Georgian mahogany cheese coasters were used to place rounds/half rounds of cheese in. The castors on the base were so the coaster could be rolled down the dinig room to guests. 
Its a great size measuring approx 41cm l x only 12cm d x 14cm h including the castors.
