An antique 19th century fruitwood bottle case with a superb colour and patina to it.
Beautifully turned and quite unusual to find in different woods, the majority are boxwood.
The top unscrews and inside is the original glass stoppered bottle and a glass measuring beaker.
It has a very very minor surface hairline on oneside, but is extremely difficult to spot and does not detract from it. This is a really really good example of a bottle case with its glass bottle and beakerinside.
It measures 13cm h x 5.5cm w.
