A carved solid book with spine saying 'part of the Royal George sunk at Spithead Aug 29th 1782, recovered by Col Pasley. Made probably to serve as a paper weight. Provenance from the Shepherds Collection.
It measures 15cm l x 8cm w x 2.4cm d
