An early painted  Tunbridge Ware circular sewing pannier box with a rare painted polychrome scene of  oriental figures tracking a tiger. The lid and handle have been decorated with painted flowers. Inside the box is lined with iots original green paper lining.
The base is inscribed with the name Enid.
The box measures 11cm w x 8.5cm h excluding the handle.
